The hardest test is putting out MAN Genuine Oil into practice on the world's roads, day after day, month after month. And it is here that the performance of an oil is put to the test under real-life, day-to-day stresses and strains: strong vibrations. dirty air, stop-start driving, frequently using the engine brake and much more.
Over many years we have tested different types of oil for engines in extensive road tests. The components were then disassembled, inspected and assessed by our engineers. If they revealed signs of deposits or increased wear, then the oil in question was not approved. Only the oils that have been shown to pass these tests, i.e. that have proved to be ideally suited to our vehicles, receive the MAN seal of approval.
